AOLI JOURNAL / LIGHTING GUIDE
Before you buy LED headlight bulbs: a fitment checklist
An LED upgrade starts with the headlight assembly already on your vehicle. A bulb that looks correct on a product page can still be unsuitable for the housing or electronics.

Confirm the original light source
Record your make, model, year and trim. Check whether the original system uses halogen, HID or a factory LED module, and identify the correct bulb base from reliable vehicle documentation.
Check space and electrical requirements
Compare the bulb dimensions with the available space behind the lamp and dust cap. Ask about connector compatibility and whether the specific vehicle needs an additional adapter or electrical interface.
Check the beam after installation
Optical alignment matters as much as a lumen figure. Have the installed beam checked and adjusted appropriately. Confirm that the proposed product and installation are permitted for your intended road use.
